Custom Qualtrics Survey Development. Used JavaScript to customize Qualtrics survey software to provide a more advanced survey tool. Examples of customization that he has done: (1) Implementing Google Maps API to provide map-based questions; (2) Use Google Maps API to get addresses; (3) Add custom formatting to fields / forms; (4) Creating on-the-fly data analysis to use in future questions; and (5) Using Loop & Merge to iterate through survey questions (e.g., if you want to ask the same questions for multiple people in a household).
Lab HR Processes. Developed & implemented an automated HR process in Power Automate & SharePoint Lists for HEAL staff, work-study, volunteers, and graduate students that processed the paper work for hiring, training completion, and hours submission.
Qualtrics Survey Cleaning Automation. Developed & implemented a survey cleaning automation process that allowed the team to collect consent data in the same Qualtrics survey as the survey data using Qualtrics API & Python. The survey was completed, a Python script downloaded the data from Qualtrics and deleted the original survey response using Qualtrics API. The data was separated into Master List, Survey Data, and identifiers with a unique ID connecting the three datasets. Final data was converted into a SPSS file for analysis.
Longitudinal Study Automation. Developed & implemented an ethics-approved automated process for a longitudinal study using Python, Qualtrics API, Power Automate, & SharePoint Lists. The Python script downloaded the data from Qualtrics, deleted the data from Qualtrics and backed up on a UWO server, register participants to a master list, clean the survey data, send invitations to complete survey #2, send reminder emails to participants who have not completed the surveys, and maintain the master list.
